Work-in-Process Summary

The Work-in-Process Summary shows a summary of the activity reported against each manufacturing order for the period.

The beginning balance is the value of all transactions against the manufacturing order in previous periods.  The following components of the beginning balance are shown on the report:  material, labor, burden, and miscellaneous cost.  The current period's activity is shown by material, labor, burden, miscellaneous cost, and receipts.
If the manufacturing order is closed for Inventory Accounting (status = Z), variances are calculated and displayed.

The ending balance is the sum of the beginning balance, this period activity, and the variances.  The following components of the beginning balance are shown on the report:  material, labor, burden, and miscellaneous cost.

Manufacturing Order Processing Exception

The Manufacturing Order Processing Exception prints an error code and error message for every exception condition that occurs while processing the Work-in-Process Summary (IA130A).
