Year-End Journal Report Request - Purpose
GL290E
The Year-End Journal Report Request program (GL290E) displays the Year-End Journal Entry Report Request Screen (GL290S1A) where you may submit a request for either a list or final Year-End Journal report for a specific company/location and year. When the request is submitted, this program calls a batch program, Year-End Journal Entry Processing (GL290P), and passes the information from the request screen. The batch program creates the Year-End Journal Entry report.
For a valid request to be submitted, the user must be authorized to the company/location entered on the request screen, and the posted year must be greater than the previously posted year as defined on Reference File category 144.
