General Ledger Post Multi-currency Update - Purpose
GL202P
The General Ledger Post Multi-currency Update program (GL202P) updates the Multi-currency Account Master file (GLMLTP1) to reflect the changes in the base and foreign currency amounts of each account caused by the transactions in the period. The General Ledger Post program (GL200P) calls the General Ledger Post Multi-currency Update program.
Before executing this program, the control program (GL202C) creates the logical files needed to access the account and transaction data. The Financial Cumulative Transaction logical file (GLCMTRL6) contains one record summarizing all transaction records in the Financial Cumulative Transaction physical file (GLCMTRP1) for each account/center/currency.
