The Payment Data Base Audit program (AP650E) is used primarily during installation to ensure the integrity of the Payment Header and Application files. The control totals indicated on the header records should be supported by the application records.
The report lists only the fields found to be in error. Both the header and accumulated application amounts are displayed if a discrepancy occurs. Error counts are provided at company and location levels.
An additional feature of this program is its capability to partially restore missing header records based on the application records. These rebuilt headers are incomplete and will require online maintenance to be fully restored.
