Use BuyDesign Configurator as an Embedded Configurator in Your ERP or CRM System
When linked to your ERP system’s order management function, BuyDesign Configurator provides full configuration capabilities for make-to-order (MTO), configure-to-order (CTO), or certain engineer-to-order (ETO) products. After capturing the selected product features and options and calculating the proper price, it can generate either a “smart” part number or detailed BOM, routing, and other manufacturing data to drive the production process.
When linked to your CRM system’s opportunity and account management functions, BuyDesign acts as a configuration and pricing engine to produce quotes for MTO, CTO, or ETO products. In addition to guiding sales people through the configuration process, BuyDesign can generate configuration-specific sales documents such as quotes, proposals, drawings, 3D CAD models, contracts, spec sheets, etc.
BuyDesign Configurator has been built to be “application neutral” so it can be integrated with just about any ERP, CRM or CAD system.
