MAC-PAC XE Priority Manager Now Available for Low Cost Subscription

TDCI Acquires Licensing Rights

Powerful Demand-driven Production Management Toolset Latest Benefit to MAC -PAC XE Maintenance Customers

TDCI is pleased to announce that we have acquired licensing rights to MAC -PAC XE Priority Manager (Priority Manager), and are now making it available through an affordable annual subscription for MAC -PAC XE customers with an active maintenance and support agreement.

"We believe our customers will be very pleased with the investment we've made to make Priority Manager available at such an affordable cost," stated Dan DeMuth, TDCI President. "This is a powerful, proven toolset that can help MAC -PAC XE companies better execute a demand-driven production strategy and improve on-time delivery of customer orders."

"Every company using MAC -PAC XE should take a look at Priority Manager - even if they previously looked at it in the past," added Kevin Smith TDCI Manager, Customer Support. "A number of new capabilities have been added that can be a big help in just about any manufacturing environment. With our new subscription pricing, a lot more companies should be able to take advantage of those tools."

Smith went on to say: "As an example, I know one MAC -PAC XE customer where, immediately after installing Priority Manager, they were able to identify a large number of orders that could ship immediately rather than waiting until the planned time. It also provided visibility to Sales Order shipments for stock parts by displaying all the parts needed (and their status) in one place. As that capability doesn't exist in MAC -PAC, it allowed them to reduce inventory and improve cash flow."

Priority Manager is an advanced MAC -PAC XE manufacturing management application designed to help manufacturers become more customer demand-driven by clearly identifying the near-term actions operations managers need to take to ship orders on time, reduce expediting activity, and minimize inventory levels. A growing number of manufacturers have already made dramatic improvements in throughput and delivery performance using Priority Manager, such as Camfil Farr, Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Cincinnati Incorporated, The Ruskin Company, and Link-Belt Construction Equipment.

Priority Manager uses the BOM and supply/demand information that exists in MAC -PAC XE to identify the ultimate source for each detail demand - at all levels, for all items and activities. A series of reports and inquiry screens give production managers and buyers a clear view of where each item is going to end up - i.e. which order for which customer on which date. Priorities and sequencing of activities can then be tied directly to shop orders that are most important and truly needed to meet customer obligations.
