Finance and sales reporting packs are now available for Insights for MAC-PAC XE ™ (Insights). Insights is part of a MAC-PAC modernization initiative that brings major advancements in reporting and information retrieval capabilities to your MAC-PAC XE system. Utilizing a combination of IBM i-Series and Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting technologies, along with new application components delivered and supported by TDCI, Insights provides a powerful, user-extensible MAC-PAC XE information access framework.
Insights for MAC-PAC XE provides:
- Easier access to the valuable information held in your existing MAC-PAC XE system
- Retention of historical information not previously stored in MAC-PAC XE
- Advanced information analysis and presentation tools
That means:
- Faster answers to important questions
- Better, more confident decisions
- More empowered managers and employees
The finance and sales reporting packs are the newest deliverables within the Insights framework. Each of the new report packs contains pre-defined reports, KPIs and alerts for their respective area. Most importantly, the underlying real-time DB2 files with user-friendly file and field names are what make it easy for end users to create new reports or customize the delivered reports using the information already held in the MAC-PAC XE database.
- Finance reports include: summary income statement, AP transactions, AR transactions, GL Journal, and Inventory Accounting.
- Sales reports include: top sales products, sales budget vs. actual, sales by product class, last month sales review, sales order detail, and sales product detail.
