Long-time MAC-PAC user, Hydro Aluminum North America, the U.S. headquartered unit of Hydro Aluminium , one of the world's top integrated aluminum companies, has recently returned to the TDCI MAC-PAC XE maintenance program. Hydro Aluminium is the aluminum component of Hydro , a Fortune 500 energy and aluminum supplier based in Oslo, Norway.

Although they ultimately plan to move to Hydro's corporate standard SAP system, Hydro Aluminum North America will continue to use MAC-PAC XE for some time and wanted access to new OS/400 upgrades, PTFs, enhancements, and TDCI support services to supplement their internal IT staff during the transition period.

Hydro Aluminum North America operates 13 facilities from New York to Mexico , providing aluminum solutions including supply sourcing, extrusion, finishing, and fabrication of components, and engineering and contract manufacturing services for a variety of industries.
