December 2009 --TDCI solution partner for EDI, EXTOL International, Inc. (EXTOL), in cooperation with Ann Arbor, Michigan based Knovalent, Inc. (Knovalent), recently completed an important project with a long-time MAC-PAC automotive industry user and TDCI customer.  With this project, EXTOL and Knovalent helped this MAC-PAC user implement a new automotive release accounting system to replace that company’s previous Future 3 solution.

The change to the Knovalent Automotive solution with EXTOL EDI was triggered by the company’s need to move to a newer iSeries platform - the license fee to make that move with the Future 3 software would have been very expensive.  EXTOL and Knovalent were able to provide the same or better capabilities at a lower cost while providing a solution with a reputation for excellent support. 

Knovalent and EXTOL team to provide a range of automotive-specific solutions based on AIAG standards, including automotive EDI, release accounting, order processing, shipping & invoicing, and vendor EDI.
