  • Guided product selection goes beyond standard catalog search capabilities to help users identify and select the products that best fit their needs based on answers to appropriate questions or entry of high level criteria.
  • Product configuration using the BuyDesign Configurator helps users understand and select available features, options, and dimensions while ensuring they define a valid product. The product configuration experience can be tailored to different types of users e.g. dealer sales rep, customer service rep, self-service end-customer) for a given product.

  • Product visualization helps users visually confirm their product, feature, and option selections during configuration. Options include: dynamically selected static images, 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, and photo-realistic images.
  • Dynamic pricing quickly produces configuration-specific list price, dealer cost, and quoted selling price. A flexible quote worksheet enables dealers or sales people to apply authorized over-ride markup or margin factors to create the final quoted price.
  • Quote/proposal document generation makes it easy for sales people to develop professional quote documents or complete proposal packages to win the business.

    Depending on your needs, basic quote documents can be produced using built-in BuyDesign Channel Sales capabilities; or complete bid, proposal, or submittal packages can be created using optional Proposal Generation tools.
  • Ordering utilizes the same product selection, configuration, visualization, and pricing capabilities  to make direct order entry easy and intuitive for both sales people and self-service customers.
  • Status and history inquiry allows sales people, customer service personnel,and authorized end-customers to instantly view the current status and appropriate details of orders, shipments, and invoices. Information is obtained from your enterprise system using BuyDesign enterprise integration capabilities.
