Synchronize global sales channels with Internet connectivity and communications
BuyDesign® InTouch provides your system
administrator with the tools to keep product information and software
versions continually synchronized and up-to-date for users of distributed BuyDesign
components. It also provides the ability to define and deliver messages
to both online and distributed users, as well as the infrastructure
for management of web services to support Internet-based communications
among all members of your multi-level sales channel. Features include:
- Content and software update management automatically
keeps all BuyDesign users synchronized with your latest information
(such as product information, pricing, configuration rules, etc.)
held in the central BuyDesign repository, as well as the latest
versions of BuyDesign software. Administrators are provided with
the tools to organize and create update packages that are automatically
downloaded and applied by users of BuyDesign components via the
Internet. These packages can also be used for CD delivery if desired.
- User and license management provides
easy-to-use the tools to manage your distributed and online system
users and their corresponding usage of various BuyDesign applications.
You can create and manage users, assign BuyDesign application licenses,
monitor when these licenses were activated, and revoke authorizations
when you want to prevent users from accessing your information.
- Message services provide
an easy method of defining and delivering various types of messages
to both online and distributed BuyDesign users. For instance, you
may publish messages that highlight new products, product options,
pricing changes, promotions, etc. that are part of a new update
package. Messages can include a hyperlink to a web page for more
details.
