Net Change Flag

The net change flag is stored on each item's Part Master File record.  It is set on by two types of changes: 

• Changes to inventory information on the Part Master (Control and Productivity screens).
• Changes to planning-related information on the Part Master (Planning screen).
• Changes to demand forecasts, order quantities, or order dates that affect the inventory position of the part.  

When the replanning flag is on, Requirements Planning will include the part in the next net change requirements generation.  (Note that the part will automatically be included in a full regeneration, since all parts are replanned.)
