This window displays the complementary or substitute parts for the related item. In addition, the warehouse balance base price and the available quantity of each related item will be displayed. This window is displayed through action codes entered during Sales or Quote Order Maintenance. Three action codes exist: one for complementary items; one for substitute items; and one for all of the related items. If the action code is for either a complementary (CI) or substitute (SI) relationship type, then the Related Items window will be displayed.
COMPANY/WAREHOUSE
Required. This field is defaulted from the sales or quote order line and if it is not defined, it defaults from the sales or quote order header. It cannot be left blank. This field can be changed using the F17 command key.
POSITION TO
The Position To field is used to re-display the list beginning with the value entered. You cannot select a line from this window. The lines before the beginning value may be displayed by entering a new value in the Position To field.
PART NUMBER
Required. The Part Number field must be filled in Sales or Quote Order Maintenance in order for this window to be called. The part number will default into this field. If you change the part number, then this window will be reloaded for the new part. The part number in this field will not be returned to the Sales or Quote Order Maintenance conversation. The part number must exist on the Part Master File.
RELATED ITEM
Display only. The part number of the related item. Exists on the Related Items File.
DESCRIPTION
Display only. This field provides further information for identifying the part number. It defaults from the Part Master File.
AVAILABLE QUANTITY
Display only. Displays the amount of inventory available for this item at the sourcing warehouse. Exists on the Warehouse Balance File for the company/warehouse.
BASE PRICE
Display only. The standard unit of price for the part without discounts or pricebreaks. Exists on the Warehouse Balance File for the company/warehouse.
NEXT ACTION CODE
Optional. Enter the action code for the next window to be displayed.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Processes the entered data.
F3 - Exit the program and return to the menu.
F10 - Display the List of Valid Relationship Types Window (DE250W02).
F17 - Change the company/warehouse in which you are currently working.
