This screen displays the labor requirements details for a specified manufacturing order.  If a master operation has been defined for the order, the operations associated with that master are not displayed.  If the order is configured, the sales order number, release number, and line number where the manufacturing order originated will be displayed.

Operations are highlighted if reconciliation errors are detected.  These are caused by inconsistencies between successive operations, such as more quantity completed at one operation than at the previous one.

PLANT

Required.  Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done.  The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409).  Defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID.

ORDER NUMBER

Display only.  The manufacturing order entered on the Function Select screen. Can be a manufacturing order for a manufactured, build-thru, or transfer part type, or a rework order.  Transfer parts may have manufacturing orders in their own plant if a product structure and a routing exist.

JOB NUMBER

Display only.  (Displayed only if the Job Control module is installed and if the manufacturing order has been assigned to a job) The job number to which this manufacturing order is assigned.

PART NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION

Display only.  The part number associated with the manufacturing order currently being displayed together with its description.

UNIT OF MEASURE

Display only.  The stockkeeping unit of measure associated with the part and therefore the manufacturing order.

ORIGINATING S. O. LINE

Display only.  The sales order and line number where the order was entered.

ORDER STATUS

Display only.  The status of the manufacturing order.  Valid values are:

P - Planned

F - Firmed

O - Open

C - Closed

Z - Accounting Closed

ORDER DATE

Display only.  The date this manufacturing order was entered into the system.

ORDER QUANTITY

Display only.  The number of pieces ordered for this manufacturing order.

ORDER TYPE

Display only.  The type of manufacturing order.  Valid values are:

MFG - Manufacturing

RWK - Rework

ORDER START DATE

Display only.  The beginning date for this manufacturing order.

YIELD FACTOR

Display only.  Used to inflate the item order quantity to account for expected scrap by increasing the required demand quantity of the parent part and planning the order quantity accordingly in the Master Scheduling and Requirements Planning modules.

RECONCILIATION FILTER

Display only.  This filter is used for inconsistent recordings of inventory moved from completion on one operation number/line number to available on another operation number/line number.  The reconciliation filter is a lower limit below which the difference will not be flagged.  For example:  operation 010 00 completes 100 pieces and operation 020 00 records 103 pieces as available.  If the reconciliation filter was 4 this difference would not be flagged.

ORDER DUE DATE

Display only.  The scheduled completion date for this manufacturing order.

ACTUAL SCRAP RATE

Display only.  The percentage of the ordered quantity that has been scrapped to date.  This value is calculated by the Shop Floor Module as follows:

(Cumulative Scrap / Order Quantity) X 100

Cumulative scrap is the total of all scrap recorded for this manufacturing order at all operations.  It is maintained continuously on the manufacturing order.

OPERATION NUMBER

Display only.  The operation step of the labor requirement, generated from the standard routing of the part or manually entered through Labor Requirements Maintenance.

OPERATION LINE

Display only.  Indicates whether this labor requirement step is a primary operation (00) or an activated secondary operation (01 and up).  Alternate labor requirement operations are activated only through Labor Requirements Maintenance.

OPERATION DESCRIPTION

Display only.  The user defined description for this operation number/line number.

WORKCENTER NUMBER

Display only.  The workcenter through which the operation step is routed.

OPERATION TYPE

Display only.  The valid operation types are:

1 - Standard

2 - Master

3 - Setup only overlap

4 - Run time overlap

5 - Setup and run time overlap

6 - Fixed time setup overlap

7 - Fixed time setup only overlap

To see more detailed explanations of each operation type, type an 'X' and press F11.

START DATE

Display only.  The planned start date of this operation step for the manufacturing order as generated by the Labor Requirements Generation program.

ACTUAL START DATE

Display only.  The actual start date of activity at this operation, defined by the date that a quantity complete, quantity scrapped, etc. was first reported.

DUE DATE

Display only.  The due date or expected completion date of this operation step as generated by the Labor Requirements Generation program.

OPERATION STATUS

Display only.  The status of the operation.  Will be either O (open) or C (closed).  Operations achieve a status of closed through the Labor Requirements Status Update conversation, and when closed, no further transactions may be processed at the operation step.  However, the operation may be reopened for reporting purposes.

AVAILABLE QUANTITY

Display only.  The quantity available from the previous operation for processing at this operation.  Typically the quantity moved and/or completed from the previous operation.

COMPLETED/SCRAPPED QUANTITY

Display only.  The quantities completed and scrapped at this operation, respectively.

SHIPPED/MOVED QUANTITY

Display only.  The quantities shipped and moved at this operation, respectively.  A shipped quantity will only appear if this is the last operation on the manufacturing order and the inventory has been shipped out of your facility.

SELECT FIELD

Optional.  Enter an X in this field and press Enter to see detailed information about the operation.

COMMAND KEYS

Enter - Return to the Function Select screen.

F2    - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered.  Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen.  When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
