The Error File Maintenance screen is used to add and delete user-defined error codes and messages. It is also used to change the message associated with an existing error code.
ERROR CODE
Display only. The error code entered on the previous screen.
ERROR DESCRIPTION
Required. The error message associated with an error code. This message will be displayed whenever the error occurs in processing. The description must be left-justified.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Update the Error Codes File and display the previous screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Return to the previous menu without updating the Error Codes File.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F10 - Display the DE System Control File Maintenance Select screen without updating the Error Codes File.
