The bill of material will contain all components that:

o  Are one of the types you enter.  If you do not enter any types, all types will be displayed.

o  Are in effect on the effectivity date you enter OR are in effect for the revision level you enter.  You must enter either an effectivity date or a revision level; do not enter both.

PLANT

Required.  Used to identify the plant in which inquiry will be done.  The plant must be valid (not blanks or nines) and the user must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File Category 409).  Defaults to the plant assigned to the user's ID, but may be changed by pressing F17.

PART NUMBER

Required.  The parent part whose bill of material you want to display.  The part must exist on the Part Master File.

Optional.  Enter the code for each type of component you want to include in the summarized explosion.  Enter up to six codes.  If you do not enter any codes, all part types will be included.

EFFECTIVITY DATE

Optional.  Only components in effect on this date will be displayed.  If you do not enter a date, all components will be displayed.  You must enter either an Effectivity Date field or a Revision Level field; do not type in both fields.

REVISION LEVEL

Optional.  Only components in effect for this revision level will be displayed.  If you do not enter a level, all components will be displayed.  You must enter either an Effectivity Date field or a Revision Level field; do not type in both fields.
