This screen is used to request a part for which a multi-level bill of material explosion will be displayed.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant where the workcenters exist. The plant must be valid (not blanks or nines) and the user must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File Category 409). Defaults to the plant are assigned to the user ID, but may be changed by pressing F17.
PART NUMBER
Required. Must be an active manufactured, planning, build-thru, transfer, purchase, or raw material part with at least one component.
DISPLAY COMMENTS
Required. Place a 'Y' in this field if you wish to view the BOM comments attached to these product structures. This field must be either a 'Y' or a 'N'.
EFFECTIVITY DATE
Required. Only the components that are in effect on the requested date will be displayed. If you wish to review all components, regardless of effectivity date, enter ALL.
REVISION LEVEL
Optional. Enter the revision level for the specified part. Different revision levels often have different characteristics for the related part, such as new or replacement components in the bill of material.
COMMAND KEY
Enter - Display the detail screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Product Structure Maintenance Program.
F17 - Used to change the plant in which the user is currently working.
