Purpose
The Transaction Register is a single report with several report heading breaks. Heading breaks are according to function code. The appropriate heading precedes its function code. Through the Design Engineering Transaction Register Print Option in the System Control File, the user specifies whether all transactions are to be printed on the Transaction Register or only invalid transactions. The report lists each transaction submitted against the master files. The transactions that were not posted due to input errors are listed with all corresponding error codes and messages. Transactions entered in Data Entry and Online Update mode both appear on the Design Engineering Transaction Register.
Report Sequence
Reference Number, and Time and Date Entered.
The following function codes may appear on the report:
PA1 - Part Master addition
PA2 - Part Master reactivation
PA3 - Copy Part (from another plant)
PC1 - Part Master change (description)
PC2 - Part Master change (control)
PC3 - Part Master change (plan)
PC4 - Part Master change (cost)
PC5 - Part Master change (sales)
PC6 - Part Master change (productivity)
PC7 - Part Master change (purchasing)
PD1 - Part Master delete
SA1 - Product Structure addition
SA2 - Product Structure copy bill of material
SC1 - Product Structure change
SD1 - Product Structure deletion
SM1 - Product Structure mass deletion
LVA - Location Validation addition
LVD - Location Validation deletion
EC1 - Engineering Change addition
EC2 - Engineering Change change
EC3 - Engineering Change deletion
RV1 - Revision Level addition
RV2 - Revision Level change
