Use Batch Entry to Define Parts

Batch entry is used primarily to transfer part information from another system to MAC-PAC when MAC-PAC is first installed.  There is no online program for creating the records to be processed in the batch job.

1.   Prepare the records to be posted to the Part Master File.  These records must be in the files DE100AP1, DE100AP2, ..., DE100AP8.  These files can be created through a utility such as DFU or by a custom program.

2.   Submit the Part Master job from the Design Engineering Processing Menu.

Note:    See the explanation of program DE110E in the Design Engineering Program Documentation manual for more information.
