This screen is used to define the system options necessary for the Capacity Planning module to run. The options presented are different depending upon whether Shop Floor Control is installed on your system.
LOAD OPEN ORDERS OPTION
Not displayed if Shop Floor Control is installed; required if Shop Floor Control in not installed. Once defined, this option may not be changed. Valid values are:
Y - CP is to generate load for open as well as firm and planned orders.
N - CP is to generate load for firmed and planned orders only. The open orders are considered irrelevant in planning for future capacity changes and/or rerouting of scheduled operations.
INCLUDE W/C CHANGES OPTION
Required. Must be either:
Y - Planned labor requirements will be rescheduled during net change processing if any scheduling information is altered on workcenters which have existing load.
N - If changes are made to scheduling information on workcenters which have existing load, the affected planned labor requirements will not be rescheduled automatically during net change processing.
INCLUDE PART MASTER CHANGES OPTION
Required. Must be either:
Y - Planned labor requirements will be rescheduled during net change processing if any scheduling information is altered for parts which have existing orders.
N - If changes are made to scheduling information for parts which have existing orders, the affected planned labor requirements will not be rescheduled automatically during net change processing.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process entries and return to menu.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
