This screen allows you to define or modify descriptive information about the workcenter.
PLANT
Display only. The plant where the workcenter is located. It was specified on the Function Select screen.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The workcenter for which information is being entered or changed. It was specified on the Function Select screen.
WORKCENTER DESCRIPTION
Required. The workcenter description appears on various reports and inquiries and is used to describe the workcenter.
DEPARTMENT NUMBER
Required. Groups related workcenters into a department. In the Inventory Accounting module, the department is related to general ledger labor and overhead accounts. Must be an existing department number.
MACHINE/LABOR PACED FLAG
Required. This field is not displayed for miscellaneous cost workcenters (that is, workcenters with numbers greater than 899). Valid values are:
M - Machine Paced
L - Labor Paced
CELL IDENTIFIER
Optional. This field is not displayed for miscellaneous cost workcenters (that is, workcenters with numbers greater than 899). Alphanumeric field used to identify the cell that relates to the workcenter. No validation is performed.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Update changes.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without update.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F5 - Display the previous batch transaction waiting to be submitted.
F6 - Display the next batch transaction waiting to be submitted.
F7 - Enter Mode.
F9 - Enter the Workcenter inquiry without updating changes.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without updating changes.
F14 - Delete the currently displayed transaction.
F15 - Respecify the workcenter number.
F21 - Display the Reference Number Entry screen.
F23 - Accept with error.
