This screen is used to request that labor requirements for orders be scheduled, to allow the calculation of load within the Capacity Planning module.
If the Shop Floor Control module is not installed, this screen is used to request labor requirements generation for planned, firmed and released orders. If the Shop Floor Control module is installed, this screen is used to request generation for planned orders only.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant for which labor requirements will be generated. The plant must be valid (not blanks or nines) and the user must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to the user ID, but may be changed by pressing Command 17.
PLANNING MODE
Required. Must be either:
F - Full. All non-closed orders will be selected for scheduling.
N - Net. Only orders for which scheduling factors (e.g. order quantity, piece rates, etc.) have been modified since the last generation of planned labor requirements will be processed.
blank - To delete a previous request
PRINTER LOCATION
Required. This determines where the exception report will be printed (if any errors occur). The printer location must exist on reference category C07.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process Generation Request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without processing request.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F17 - Used to change the plant in which the user is currently working.
