This screen allows you to select and sequence fields for your window. All fields that appear on this screen, sequence and unsequenced, are defined on the Window Master File.
FIELD SET
Required if blank. Display only if entered. This field holds a valid field set from Reference File category 031 - Field Sets. This list contains all the fields that are valid for display in a window. When you first enter the conversation this will be the only field displayed. Enter a valid field set and press Enter. The remaining fields on the screen are then displayed.
ACTION CODE
Required. Enter a valid, two-digit code that corresponds to the window you want to display. Windows are defined on Reference File category 032. The action code must be associated with a window indicator of WN.
RENUMBER BY
Optional. If you are resequencing the fields (via F18=Resequence) this is the increment by which the fields will be renumbered.
LITERAL
Display only. This is the description of the field from the Windows Master File. You may maintain this description using Window Master Maintenance.
SEQUENCE
Optional. This is the order you would like the fields to appear on your window. If you do not wish a field to appear, leave the field blank.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Validate the screen.
F3 - Exit the program without processing the entered data.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without processing the entered data.
F15 - Clear all the fields you have just entered in order to enter new data.
F18 - Resequence the fields by the increment specified in the Renumber By field.
F22 - Post the transaction and exit the program.
