This screen allows you to request the Reference File List Report (CF630A). The report lists all data defined for the categories you specify. The report can be requested for all categories related to a single module, for a range of categories, or (by leaving the To and From fields blank) for all categories.
MODULE
Optional. If you enter a module's abbreviation in this field, the report will contain only categories used in that module. You must use the standard two-character abbreviation for the module, as defined on Reference File category 098.
FROM CATEGORY
Optional. Only categories whose numbers are equal to or greater than this value will be included in the report. If this field is blank, the first category on the report will be A01 (which is the first category in the file).
If you specify both a "from" value and a "to" value, the from value must occur before the to value. Note that letters are considered to occur before numbers. For example, "FROM A01 TO 002" is a valid range, but "FROM 002 TO A01" is not.
TO CATEGORY
Optional. Only categories whose numbers are less than or equal to this number will be included in the report. If this field is blank, the last category included will be the last category defined on the Reference File. In theory, this would be category 998 (you cannot specify category 999), although the actual end of the file depends on how many categories have been created.
If you specify both a "from" value and a "to" value, the from value must occur before the to value. Note that letters are considered to occur before numbers. For example, "FROM A01 TO 002" is a valid range, but "FROM 002 TO A01" is not.
REQUESTOR
Optional. This text will be printed on the report to help identify who requested the report. No validation is performed.
NUMBER OF COPIES
Required. The number of copies of the report that should be created. This field defaults to 1, but it can be changed.
SUBMIT TO BATCH
Required. Determines if the report will be run as a batch job (Y) or online (N). Because online reports can require a large amount of system resources, this field defaults to Y. Note that even when Y is used to request the batch job, the job is submitted automatically. You do not need to submit report request in another step.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
