DSP01 LITERAL TRANSLATION MAINTENANCE SELECT FUNCTION
Language 01 FRENCH
Maintenance Code 1
1 = List Literals
2 = List Non Translated Literals
3 = Add a New Language
F3=Exit F4=Prompt
This screen allows you to perform two separate functions. Initially, it allows you to initialize the Literal Translation File (CF270M) for a new language. This option will submit a batch job run by the New Language Initialization Program (CF040E). Once this is submitted, you will be returned to the Function Select screen. A new language added here must first exist on Reference File category D92.
Secondly, this program allows you to translate literals. If you are attempting to translate literals, you are shown the literal in the system's base language and can translate them to a secondary language. Once translated this information will be printed on customer and vendor documents in their associated languages. This screen allows you to choose a language for translation and the type of literals to be displayed. Once you press Enter the Literal Translation Search screen (CF815S01) will be shown. From this screen select a literal, press Enter, and the Literal Translation Maintenance Detail screen (CF270S02) will appear.
