The Common Features Calendar File Maintenance/Inquiry screen allows you to define what days of the month are shop working days.
If the Master Scheduling application is installed, define the week start day on Reference File category C13 before using this screen.
To the right of each date on the calendar, enter one of the following codes:
* - Not a working day
W - Working day
The default value for weekdays is W. The default values for Saturday and Sunday are determined by Weekend Work.
Options - Reference File category C13. The calendar must be updated far enough into the future so that parts with a long lead time may be scheduled. Reference File category C14 will hold the "warning" and end dates to help determine how far into the future a given calendar has been calculated.
CALENDAR
Display only. This field displays the calendar code and the decoded calendar information associated with the code. The calendar code data is found on Reference File category 013.
DAY HEADING
Display only. This field displays the names of the standard calendar days of the week.
DAY
The number of the day for the specified calendar.
WORK OPTION
Optional. This field is used to indicate whether the day is a work day. You may enter an asterisk (not a work day) or a W (work day) if you are in maintenance mode. After a work day is defined on the Calendar File and work activity is scheduled for that work day, you cannot change the day to a non-working day.
