The Event Manager conversation allows you to view and act upon Business Process Manager (BPM) events that are routed to your BPM mailbox.
The Recap screen displays the events in your mailbox and allows you to select a specific event. You can then either view additional information for the event or perform the predefined automatic action for the event.
MAILBOX ID
Display only. The BPM mailbox ID for which events are being displayed.
MAILBOX ID DESCRIPTION
Display only. The mailbox ID description is retrieved from Reference File category N03.
SELECT
Required. Select one or more event types by entering X in this field. You can then use a function key to view the details of each occurrence of the selected event type or to process the selected events using the predefined automatic action for the event type.
TYPE
Display only. This code represents the type of event that has occurred. Event type codes are user-defined in the Event Maintenance conversation.
DESCRIPTION
Display only. The description associated with the event type code.
NUMBER OF MESSAGES
Display only. Indicates the number of event messages of a specific type that are in your BPM mailbox.
CONTROL VALUE AVERAGE
Display only. The average amount of the control value for all the event records of a specific type that are in your BPM mailbox. For example, the control value average for overdue purchase orders might be the average balance due quantity of all the overdue purchase order messages in your mailbox.
COMMAND KEYS
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing the Exit key (F3) will remove it.
F3 - Exit the program without processing the entered data and return to the BPM Menu screen.
F7 - Display detail information about a selected event.
F18 - Perform the predefined action for the selected event. The automatic action for each event is user-defined on the Event Maintenance Detail screen.
