 Purpose



 The abolition of fiscal borders removes the tax authorities’ current means of monitoring EC movement of goods.  In order to control taxes upon movements of goods within the EC community, traders registered for VAT are required to produce a quarterly declaration to their VAT authorities if they ship goods to other EC member states.  This declaration is called the EC Sales List (ESL).  This report can be requested in the ESL/SSD Extract Selection conversation on the Accounts Receivable menu.  The required criteria are company/location, ESL quarter, ESL year, and the mode (draft, final, and reprint).

 Selling Company/Location, Customer, VAT Registration, Transaction Date.



 Control Totals



 Transaction amounts are totaled by company/location.
