The Journal Comments Maintenance screen is used to record comments about journal headers and detail transactions. The detail transactions are distinguished by record number and account/center.
COMPANY/LOCATION
Display only. This is the company/location that was displayed on the Header screen.
RECORD NUMBER
Display only. This field is displayed only for detail transactions. It represents the transaction number of the details in the journal that are being maintained.
JOURNAL
Display only. This is the journal number that was manually entered on the Header screen; assigned by the system; or assigned by the system with manual override.
PERIOD/YEAR
Display only. This field identifies the fiscal period/year of this transaction.
ACCOUNT/CENTER
Display only. This field refers to the General Ledger account/center to which this transaction will be posted. This field is displayed only for the detail line transactions.
COMMENT TEXT
Optional. This field is used to write information about the journal header or detail transactions.
COMMAND KEYS
F3 - Exit program without processing request.
F15 - Clear the most recently entered field values so they can be reentered.
