Company

The company level in the organizational structure may be used as a division within the larger organization or as a separate company with one or more subsidiary locations.  The company level is used to summarize locations with the same company code.  Because all accounts are maintained at the location level, each company must have at least one location.

Separate balance sheets and income statements can be prepared for each company.
