This request screen submits a job that will create a bank remittance either on paper or on magnetic media.  If the remittance support option specifies magnetic, the remittance information is written to the Remittance Transaction File (DM100AP), which then can be transferred to tape using the Create Bank Tape option.  This job will also generate the appropriate accounting journal entries to recognize the remittance.

CO/LOC

Required.  The company and location of the bank for which the remittance will be created.  This record must exist in Reference File category 002.

REMITTANCE DATE

Required.  The date for which the remittance will be created.  The date must fall within the valid range of accounting dates that are listed on Reference File category 336.

REMITTANCE SUPPORT

Required.  The type of remittance that will be created; paper or magnetic.  The remittance type must exist on Reference File category F40.  For magnetic support, the corresponding member in the Remittance Transaction File (DM100AP) must not exist for the entered company and location.

BOOK CODE

Required.  This code is used to separate G/L Journal Entries into individual books. This code must be defined on Reference File category 136.  The code will default from the book code/conversation defaults on Reference File category 135 if book codes are used in the company/location, as defined on Reference File category 132.  Otherwise, the book code is defaulted as the module code (DM for draft management).
