The Blanket Order Maintenance Detail Screen (GA110S02) allows you to specify default information associated with the bill-to customer you specified on the Function Select screen.

BLANKET ORDER NUMBER

Display only.  Blanket orders define default information for all your bill-to customers.  Overall financial conditions are associated with a customer through a blanket order.  Blanket order is unique within all the company/locations.

BILL-TO CUSTOMER

Display only.  Displays the bill-to customer associated with this blanket order.  This is the customer you specified on the Function Select screen.

BILL-TO CUSTOMER NAME

Display only.  Displays the name of the bill-to customer associated with this blanket order.  Defaults from the Customer Master File.

VALIDITY

Required.  The date on which this blanket order becomes valid.  In add mode, defaults to the current date.  This date can be changed, but it cannot be prior to the current date.  This field is protected in change mode.

CURRENCY

Display only.  Indicates the billing currency associated to the customer.  This information defaults from the Customer Master File.

CURRENCY DESCRIPTION

Display only.  Description of the billing currency associated with the customer.

VENDOR ACCOUNT NUMBER

Optional.  This is the number your customer uses to identify you.  From the customer's perspective, this is the account number assigned to you.

CONTRACT NUMBER

Required.  In VDA mode, this field has a maximum length of 12 digits.  This is the number your bill-to customer uses to identify this blanket order.  This number must be unique within a customer in a company location on the Blanket Order file.  You can specify this number on the delivery request, instead of the Synchro blanket order number, to identify the blanket order contract applicable to a delivery request.  This is where the system links the Synchro blanket order number and the customer contact number.

COMPANY/LOCATION

Display.  The company/location of the Bill-to customer entered at the Function Select screen.

USAGE

Required.  Indicates the type of sales (i.e. First Assembly, Spares).  If this field is entered, the specified value must exist on Reference File category G05 (Synchro Usage Types).  Once entered, cannot be changed.

HOME/EXPORT

Required.  (Display only in Change mode.)  Indicates whether the sales are domestic or export.  Must exist on Reference File category 406.

ORDER CLASS

Required.  (Display only in Change mode.)  The system uses order classes to group sales orders for posting to Accounts Receivable and inventory accounts.  The order class must exist on Reference File category D36.

COMPANY/WAREHOUSE

Required.  Enter the company and warehouse in which this blanket order contract exists.  The company/warehouse should exist and be authorized.  Company/warehouse is descriptive only.  The system does not process these fields.  If established in Reference File category 428 (User Assignment), the company/warehouse defaults from category 428 based on user ID.

DOCUMENT TYPE

Required.  The document type must exist on Reference File category 329 as an invoice document type (group 1).  If the VAT declaration point is '2' and the company/location exists on Reference File category M12 with the Payment Time VAT Review flag set to 'Y', the document type must have a valid sector on Reference File category 329 and Reference File category M19.  The sector type must be '1'.

VAT CODE

Required.  (Display only in Change mode.)  (Displayed in VAT environment.) Enter the code corresponding to the VAT rates applicable to this customer.  This code, and its description are defined on Reference File category 308 (VAT Information).

VAT CODE-DESCRIPTION

Display only.  (Displayed in VAT environment.)  Displays the description of the VAT code associated with this customer.  This description is defined on Reference File category 308 (VAT Information).

STATE TAX CODE

Display only.  (Displayed in US tax environment.) This field displays the state tax code for the blanket order.  State tax codes must be defined on Reference File category 304.

COUNTY TAX CODE

Display only.  (Displayed in US tax environment.) This field displays the county tax code for the blanket order.

CITY TAX CODE

Display only.  (Displayed in US tax environment.) Displays the city tax code for the blanket order.  If the city tax code is not entered, the city tax rate will be zero.

PAYMENT TERMS

Required.  Indicates the terms of payment associated with the customer.  Valid payment terms are defined on Reference File category 323 (Payment Terms).  The system defaults this information from the Customer Master File.  You can change this information on backorder creation in this conversation.  If Payment Time VAT Review processing is active and VAT declaration point is '2' for this customer, the payment terms or installments cannot be defined as a draft payment (type 4).

PAYMENT TERMS DESCRIPTION

Display only.  Displays the description of the payment terms associated with this customer.

SYNCHRO PAYMENT MODE

Required.  Indicates the SYNCHRO standard description of the payment mode used. Must exist on Reference File category G08 (Synchro Payment Mode).  This code identifies the procedure used to transfer funds from the customer's (debtor's) account to your (creditor's) account.  The system uses payment mode in the billing process and to generate INVOIC messages.

PAYMENT MODE DESCRIPTION

Display only.  Displays the description of the payment mode.

SYNCHRO PAYMENT TYPE

Required.  Indicates the standard description of the payment mode used between the debtor and the creditor.  Must exist on Reference File category G07 (SYNCHRO payment type).  If the payment type is a bill of exchange and the customer is not paying on a statement basis, a draft will automatically be created.  If Payment Time VAT Review processing is active and VAT declaration point is '2' for this customer, the payment type cannot be defined as a draft payment (type 4).

SYNCHRO PAYMENT TYPE DESCRIPTION

Display only.  Description of the payment mode used between the debtor and the creditor.

E/S AUTHORIZATION NUMBER

Required.  (Display only in Change mode.)  Enter the E/S authorization number if the VAT code is exonerated or suspended.

SHIPMENT TERMS CODE

Required.  Indicates the shipment terms that are applied to the orders for this customer.  Must exist on Reference File category 321 (Shipment Terms).  You cannot modify this field in change mode.

SHIPMENT TERMS DESCRIPTION

Display only.  Describes the shipment terms code

CREDIT MANAGER CODE

Optional.  Indicates the person responsible for the credits granted to the customer.  If entered, must exist on Reference File category 313 (Credit Manager).

CREDIT MANAGER DESCRIPTION

Display only.  Describes the person responsible for the credits granted to the customer.

CONTACT

Optional.  Enter the name of the person to contact regarding this customer.

DEPARTMENT

Optional.  Enter the department of the person to contact regarding this customer.

FUNCTION

Optional.  Enter the function of the person to contact regarding this customer.

TELEPHONE

Optional.  Enter the telephone number where the contact can be reached.

EXTENSION

Optional.  Enter the telephone extension where the contact can be reached.

NUMBER OF SHIP LISTS

Required.  Enter the number of copies you want for each shipping list.

CONSOLIDATED INVOICING FLAG

Required.  Flag used to indicate if you want to automatically create an invoice for this order at shipment time or whether you want to be able to group it with other shipments for the same bill-to customer on a consolidated invoice.  This field is only displayed if the Synchro Customer KANBAN (KC) module is installed.  Valid values are:

A - Use consolidated invoicing for all items/delivery points on the blanket order.

N - Do not use consolidated invoicing for this blanket order.  An invoice will be created automatically when the order shipment is shipped.

P - Use consolidated invoicing only for items/delivery points handled by Synchro Customer KANBAN.

NUMBER OF INVOICES

Required.  Enter the number of copies you want for each invoice.

COMMAND KEYS

Enter - Validates and updates the entered data to the Blanket Order Master File.

F2    - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered.  Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen.  When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.

F3    - Exits this conversation without update and displays the application menu.

F4    - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned.  If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.

F9    - Calls the Blanket Order Inquiry conversation directly.  This allows you to view existing blanket orders and associated detail information.  You must return to the maintenance conversation by pressing F3=Exit before you can enter another conversation.  Any information you type on the current screen will still be displayed because you will not have exited the maintenance conversation.

F10   - Returns to the Blanket Order Maintenance Function Select screen.

F15   - Displays the current screen as it appeared when Enter was last pressed.  Allows you to reenter information.
