The Sales Order Inquiry List of Orders screen displays a summary listing of all existing sales orders meeting selection criteria.  Summary information for a specific order can be requested by entering an 'X' in the field to the left of that order line and then pressing the Enter key.  Maintenance for a specific order can be requested by entering the 'X' and pressing a command key.

Entry of the Select field is optional.  'X' or 'S' are the only valid values.  If you do not select an order from the list and press Enter, you will return to the Function Select screen.  All other fields on this screen are for display only.

BILL-TO CUSTOMER NUMBER/CUSTOMER NAME

Display only.  The bill-to customer specified on the Sales Order Selection window.  All of the displayed orders have this bill-to customer.  The customer name is retrieved from the Customer Master File.

SHIP-TO CUSTOMER NUMBER/CUSTOMER NAME

Display only.  The ship-to customer specified on the Sales Order Selection window.  All of the displayed orders have this ship-to customer.  The customer name is retrieved from the Customer Master File.

SELECT

Optional.  Used to display detail information for a specific order.  Enter an 'X' to display the Recap screen or an 'S' to display the Shipment Order List window.

COMPANY/WAREHOUSE

Display only.  This field indicates the selling company/warehouse combination associated with the sales order.

PROMISED SHIP DATE

Display only.  Used to define the date when goods should be shipped to the customer.  This date is also used for analysis of inventory availability in the Requirements Planning and Master Scheduling modules.

ORDER NUMBER

Display only.  Provides unique identification for a sales order. 

OPERATOR

Display only.  The operator/user who most recently maintained the order.  The creation operator/user is used if this field is blanks.

ORDER TYPE

Display only.  The type of order that is being displayed.  Order types are defined in Reference File category 401.  Valid sales order types are:

B - Blanket Sales Order

C - Regular Customer Sales Order

H - Backorder Release

S - Standing Sales Order

ORDER STATUS

Display.  This field displays the status of the order.  All order status decodes exist on the Reference File.

ORDER HOLD CODE

Display only.  The type of hold, if any, that has been placed on this order.  Hold codes are defined on Reference File category 402.  The following hold codes are provided with the system:

A - Administrative hold

C - Customer has past due accounts receivable balance

D - Customer is over credit limit

E - Customer is over order limit

F - Hold placed on all future orders

Q - Quote hold

H - Customer hold

I - EDI Order hold

P - EDI Price hold

BILL-TO CUSTOMER NUMBER

Display only.  The customer to whom the invoice should be sent for this order.

SHIP-TO CUSTOMER

Display only.  The customer to whom the goods should be delivered for this order.  This field is displayed only when F6-Fold/Truncate is pressed.

CORPORATE CUSTOMER NUMBER

Display only.  The corporate customer that is associated with the order's bill-to customer.  It is specified on the Customer Master File for the bill-to customer.

CUSTOMER PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER

Display only.  This field is used as a reference to the customer's purchase order number that is associated with this order.  This value is displayed on the order paperwork, and in the Sales Order Inquiry conversation when a listing of orders for a customer is requested.  This field is displayed only when F6-Fold/Truncate is pressed.

TOTAL SALES

Display only.  This field is the sum of all order lines, giving the total sales amount for the order.

COMMAND KEYS

Enter - Process request.

F2    - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered.  Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen.  When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.

F3    - Exit program and return to menu.

F6    - Used to display additional information on the screen.

F9    - Used to transfer to the Sales Order Maintenance Program.  If an order line has been selected with an 'X', the order number and release number are passed to the maintenance program.

F10   - Return to the Function Select screen without processing the entered data.

F19   - Used to display the Sales Order Selection window (OP800S1A).
