This conversation allows you to record information for processing the receipt of returned merchandise. It acts as a driver for controlling the various functions that need to be performed for processing RMAs. The following programs can be called from this program using command keys.
o Postbilling and Memo Entry (OP130E)
o Open Item Entry (AR030E)
o Multi-Line Inventory Adjustment (IC120E)
o Sales Order Maintenance (OP100E1)
The Function Select screen allows you to specify the RMA for receipt processing.
RMA NUMBER
Required. This is the number that will be tracked throughout the system for processing a customer's returned merchandise. It must be a valid RMA from the RMA Header File (OP145M1). You may not receive an RMA that has an RMA Status of (C) closed.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process the entered information.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without processing the entered data.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F8 - Call the RMA Maintenance Program (OP145E).
F9 - Enter the RMA Inquiry Program (OP920E).
