This screen allows you to enter the quality control specifications (QC specs) for a lot.
o When entering a specification, you must use one of the QC spec codes defined on the Reference File.
o For each spec code, you must enter a value indicating what criterion will be used to judge whether the items in the lot meet the specification.
o If a specification can have more than one value (for example, if the color can be blue or green), enter the code once for each value.
o Do not skip lines between specifications.
o You can copy QC spec codes from another lot by typing the item and lot numbers in the COPY FROM fields and pressing Enter.
This screen will also appear from the Lot Selection Inquiry screen by pressing F14=QC Spec Inquiry. To get to the Lot Selection Inquiry screen, use the lot selection action code from the Sales Order Inquiry Line/Release Detail screen. When the QC Specification Detail screen is displayed, it is in inquiry mode.
ITEM
Display only. The item number and description for the items in this lot.
LOT
Display only. The number identifying this lot.
COPY FROM ITEM
Optional. To copy QC specs from another lot, enter the item and lot numbers and press Enter.
COPY FROM LOT
Optional. To copy QC specs from another lot, enter the item and lot numbers and press Enter.
SPECIFICATION CODE
Required. Enter the code identifying the quality control specification.
DESCRIPTION
Display only. The system displays the description for the code you enter.
VALUE
Required. The criterion the items in the lot must meet for this quality control code. The value can be numbers (for QC specs such as density and weight), letters (for QC specs such as color), or a combination of the two. No validation is performed.
COMMENT PRINT CODE
Optional. This field to the left of the Comment field specifies where the comment will be printed. Print codes are defined on the Reference File.
COMMENT
Optional. If you wish, enter text to describe the lot. This text will appear on various documents (depending on the print code that you selected) as well as on the Sales Order Lot Selection screen (OP200S01).
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Record the quality control specifications entered on the screen and return to the previous screen.
F3 - Return to the previous screen without updating the QC specs.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
