The Distribution Control Maintenance Detail screen allows to associate a type with a specific part, customer, or warehouse, and division and section identifiers with corresponding descriptions. By setting these fields, you reduce the amount of information that needs to be maintained/downloaded during a data exchange session.
TYPE
Optional. This field associates the division/section identifier with a ship-to customer, part, or warehouse description. Valid values are 'C' for customer, 'P' for part, and 'W' for warehouse description.
DIVISION ID
Optional. This field contains the division identifier used to associate customers, parts, or warehouse descriptions to a specific group or division ID. This is intended to aid in reducing the amount of information that needs to be maintained during a data exchange session.
SECTION ID
Optional. This field contains the section identifier used to associate customers, parts, or warehouse descriptions to a specific group or division ID. It is designed so that a sub-set of the division ID can be specified for download.
DELETE
Optional. This field deletes the section and division IDs from the list. Enter an 'X' to delete section and division IDs.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process the request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or a mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menus.
F4 - Used to list valid values for fields prompted.
F10 - Used to display the Distribution Control Maintenance Function Select screen without performing any processing.
