This window is used to define packing and shipping containers and their quantities used to pack and ship customer items. When accessed from inquiry mode, the container code and quantity fields are protected.
PACKING CONTAINER CODE
Required. This field identifies the container in which the part is initially packed. The value entered must exist on the Container Master File.
PACKING CONTAINER QUANTITY
Required. This field identifies the part quantity in stockkeeping unit of measure that can be packed in a packing container.
SHIPPING CONTAINER CODE
Required. This field identifies the container in which the part's packing containers are placed for shipping. The value entered must exist on the Container Master File.
SHIPPING CONTAINER QUANTITY
Required. This field identifies the part quantity in stockkeeping unit of measure that can be shipped in a shipping container.
NEXT ACTION CODE
Optional. Enter a valid, two-digit code that corresponds to the window you want to display. Windows are defined on Reference File category 032. The default window (action code DF) contains all fields that can be displayed for that window. Custom windows also use action codes. Those windows contain one or more of the fields included on the default window.
COMMAND KEYS
F3 - Exit program without processing the entered data.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F15 - Clear all fields that you have just entered in order to enter new data.
