This screen lists all lines for a sales order.  It is displayed when you select option 2 on the Function Select screen.  The line detail screen allows you to specify which job is associated with each sales order line.  The job number will be added to the Sales Order Line File.

To select a line, type an X in the Select field for the line and press ENTER.  A maintenance line is displayed at the bottom of the screen.  Type the job number and press Enter.  If the job already exists, descriptive information for the job is displayed.  If the job does not exist, you can enter the descriptive information.

Note:  To create a job when automatic job numbering is used, press Enter without entering a job number on the maintenance line.  The system will assign a job number and allow you to enter descriptive information for the job.

You can change the job associated with a line by selecting the line and typing the new job number over the old number.  To remove the association between a line and job, select the line and use blanks for the job number.
